Santa Rosa Junior College has been following Cal/OSHA's non-emergency COVID-19 standards, which officially expired on February 3, 2025. Given these changes, we are updating our COVID-19 protocols.
- We will no longer actively monitor COVID-19 cases or symptoms.
- Students no longer need to report positive COVID-19 cases.
- Employees must still report positive COVID-19 cases, as required by Cal/OSHA guidelines (through February 3, 2026. See below about reporting positive cases.
- Exposure notifications will no longer be issued to classrooms or workspaces.
Though SRJC is no longer required to supply masks or COVID-19 tests, our Student Health Center will continue to provide them as long as supplies are available. COVID-19 tests are also available to the public in the Health to Go vending machine, located in the Bertolini Building Dining Commons.
If you are sick, help prevent the spread of respiratory illness (such as COVID-19, Flu, and RSV) by staying home until you're well. You can resume normal activities when both of the following have been true for at least 24 hours:
- Your symptoms are improving.
- You've been fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications

- Complete the SRJC COVID-19 Positive Incident Report Form if you have tested positive for COVID-19, and you were at a SRJC campus, site, or facility within 48 hours of your positive test collection date.
